About
One Ocean Collective is born from a passion of working on and in the ocean

Apart from a full career on and in our Oceans, our hands on experience comes from considerable time working at the executive and marine operations level for Ocean Conservation projects Globally.

Owning and operating a commercially registered research vessel, a 38 ft double hull voyaging Canoe for over 10 years. Which voyaged and worked throughout New Zealand, Tonga, Samoa, Fiji, Vanuatu, New Caledonia and Australia.

While not teaching we still work globally at sea and as a solutions provider on marine operations. Mostly for conservation efforts, research, proof of concept and viability projects in sustainability.

The desire to offer custom programs designed for each individual client, while offering internationally accredited certifications is a culmination of passion for the marine world, sustainability and knowledge exchange with our two homes. Both of which are strongly routed in Pacific Ocean heritage.

Now residing in Canada, prior to initiating our custom training programs and marine solutions, our lead worked as a contract instructor offering Transport Canada required certificates of SVOP, SDV-BS, ROC-M and practical training to the RCMP in Tofino B.C. and on-sight for private groups in various remote Coastal Communities throughout B.C., the Yukon, North West Territories and Nunavut.
